Unseen is a digital archive born from doctoral research. It documents the voices of women in Pakistan who navigate identity, love, and survival through what this research calls strategic invisibility — the art of hiding within systems meant to control.

The poetry, prose, and art gathered here speak in their own language — sometimes direct, sometimes coded. Those who recognize themselves in these pages will understand. Those who don't may simply see stories of friendship, resilience, and the universal human need to be known.

This project exists because some stories can only be told in certain ways. Because visibility isn't always liberation. Because sometimes the safest way to be seen is to be unseen — legible to those who know, opaque to those who don't.

Every piece in this archive is shared with consent. Every name is changed. Every city is approximate. Safety comes first. Always.
